Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle of free and uninterrupted energy flow. It helps to activate the natural healing processes in the body as well as to restore physical and emotional well-being. As a Certified Alternative Medicine Practitioner, my treatments help reduce stress, anxiety, and discontent among other ailments, restoring the bodies natural homeostasis.

Mindful Life Coaching

Be the master of your mind, conductor of your body, and the captain of your soul.

Using Mindful Practices to decrease stress and anxiety can benefit you during times of health and illness. Clients can learn to master their mind and replace the negative stress response with the body's natural relaxation response. Clients claim to feel more empowered and better able to handle daily stressors and conflict resolution with self and others.  I’m trained in a variety of techniques, so I tailor your session to work on your specific goals and needs.

Workshops and Presentations.

Onsite workshops and presentations using Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction/Cognitive Therapy (MBSR/CT)  knowledge and tools to instill empowerment and healing from life's stressors for all ages.

Some topics: compassion fatigue, everyday PTSD, secondary stress, working meditations, adolescents: empowerment and coping, mini-minds: learn to be still, end of life serenity, grieving, eliciting the natural relaxation response, sleeping soundly, mindful eating, ect.(Full development in process)

About Me

I’m a dedicated practitioner and teacher of alternative holistic medicine. I have been involved in this practice since 2007 ultimately creating "Moments of Serenity: Mindful Living."

My nursing career started in 1993 with a specialty in emergency medicine for 28 years. At present, I am working  as a critical care nurse in the anesthesia care units and sit on the peer support committee. I've embellished my nursing career with a certification in forensics as a sexual assault nurse examiner for the Boston MA DPH. I went on to further my personal career goal as a Master Reiki Practitioner with a certification in MBSR/CT (mindfulness based stress reduction and cognitive therapy.) 

During my years as a nurse and a single mother of  two now adult sons,  I have experienced both sides of the fence when it comes to dealing with stress and seeing the devastating effect it has on the mind~body~soul health.  I love empowering my patients and clients to understand their bodies and to discover the gentle power of the healing arts. As an alternative medicine practitioner, I enjoy being able to bridge the gap between western medicine and the “alternatives,” while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal and improve overall well-being and vitality.
